English Language Advisory Committee
Travis Ranch School’s English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is comprised of parents of students classified as English Language Learners. The purpose of the committee is to advise the principal and staff on programs and services for English learners, including topics such as:
- School District and Travis Ranch School Needs Assessment survey
- English Learner supports on campus
- Reclassification process and requirements
- The committee also works to elect a parent representative to the District-wide English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) to provide similar advice at the school district level.
