Crisis Resources

While Travis Ranch is closed and none of the counselors are on campus, I wanted to make sure that you know what resources are available to you. With this situation being new to all of us and emotions heighten, our Outreach Concern counselors can still be available to our students. If there are students that need to talk to someone at this time, please know you can use the following:

  • Crisis hotline: 1-800-4-CONCERN (for students)
  • Michelle Aiello (Regional Field Supervisor )is available at 714-319-4739 (school questions and support)
  • Family support: 211 (call from their phones)

If you have additional questions, please reach out to Mrs. San Roman. asanroman@pylusd.org

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) fosters a culture that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of students, staff, and parents. In an effort to continuously support this commitment, the District has approved an agreement with CareSolace.

CareSolace is an online resource meant to assist individuals in finding local counseling-related services. To use CareSolace, individuals answer ten basic questions in order to receive an extensive list of referrals to applicable care providers. CareSolace takes into account all types of private insurance, as well as Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and Medicare when generating a list of referrals. If uninsured, CareSolace will also identify nearby care providers that allow individuals to pay out-of-pocket for services.

CareSolace is available for use by PYLUSD students, staff, and families at no cost. Please note, this service is an optional resource available by choice and is not mandatory in any way. CareSolace does not require a user’s name, address, phone number, or date of birth.

If you are interested in seeking counseling-related services at this time, please consider visiting www.caresolace.com/site/pylusd.
