The State of California mandates vision and hearing screening for students in public school. The screening for our school will be conducted on Tuesday, March 17 for 5th and 8th graders and Thursday, March 26 for PK, K, and 2nd graders. First grade boys will be tested for color blindness. The exam consists of visual inspection of the eye, along with a test for acuity, done by nurses. Hearing testing consists of your child wearing headphones, where tones are presented, and your child will raise his/her hand.
